Who knew "faux" could be so much fun! Gotta love Stamp Group!!! For this, I randomly stamped the background. To get the silk affect, glue was spread all over the stamped paper, then a crinkled sheet of tissue paper was attached. I made the flowers by wetting and crumpling up paper. All products are Stampin' Up, of course, except the tissue paper, which is just plain old tissue paper, and the candy. :) Add ribbons, tag, and punch out a cute heart design on top. Voila! Easy, cheap Valentine!

Velentine card
Love this Valentine card we made in stamp group this month. For this we used the Big Shot with letterpress dies and didn't it turn out awesome? I bought the Big Shot just so I could buy this letterpress die!! We also, of course, used many other Stampin' Up products.

Winter Wonderland
I wanted to do a warm wintery LO for this pic of my kids with my Nana. I used mostly Stampin' Up products and a few embellies that I'm not quite sure who they came from.

Classic Rock-Beatles inspired layout
When I think of the classic rock and the Beatles, I think of things that are shiny and glittery. It also makes me thing of solid gold records and the Hollywood Walk of Fame. So here is my take on an awesome Beatles song! For the stars and letters, I used my never used Plantin' Schoolbook Cricut Cartridge.

Awesome Blog!
I came across this awesome blog by a very talented lady, so I have to share. She has so many unique ideas, including an awesome way to make earings out of brads!! How cool is that? She did a contest on her blog and I won a pair. I'm so excited! Her projects are just beautiful, so check it out!

Jan 1999
These are from a trip we took to New Jersey in January of 1999. This is my mom's side of the family. In these pictures are my son Cody, my aunt Vicki, my aunt Julie, my sister Rena, my grandfather Roy, my cousin Ashley, and me. (Yup that's me kissing the dead dear!)

Recycled Christmas Card
I made this page using a Christmas Card sent to me this year by a friend in Alaska. I loved the embossing pattern she did on this card! The stars are cut with the cricut, the snowflake is embossed with Zing silver and has a Glitz rhinestone, the paper, letters, and stickers are by Fancy Pants, and the buttons are from Stampin' Up. The picture, of course, is cute little Katie in her adorable snowsuit!
